Might be a reference to getting your tonsils out.

Pretty common surgery and your throat hurts like crazy afterwards. Cold ice cream is basically the only thing you can eat for a couple days.

Given how little content this community has, I think we should be encouraging posters, not adding rules/gatekeeping.

As much as I want one too, there’s a reason they aren’t sold in the US.

They weren’t built to survive high speed collisions with large vehicles.

If you really want one, the best option is to import >25 years old as that’s when they become street legal.

FYI the word is “piqued.”

Neat tech in search of a problem it can solve.

Still searching.

I think it’s partially due to the relatively small population and quantity of posts. Anecdotally, I never browsed r/all, but that’s my primary mode on Lemmy. I usually don’t notice the community a post belongs to unless someone brings it up.

Maybe that will change with time.

It kind of existed when Google included a link to every site’s cached content, but they removed that years ago.

“Blast” in an article title is a pretty good indicator that it’s just bait for people who are already outraged about something.

Like, yeah, this shit disgusts me, but I doubt someone “blasting” Trump is gonna do anything about it.
