Bloody hell. I already assumed that something was going wrong in Berlin when I heard what state police is doing with the Adenauer SRP+ but this shows that the problem situation in Berlin is not limited to the state police. Now I'm heavily concerned. TIL that the Berlin state government is mysogynist and racist.

Yes - but if leading AfD figures were stripped of their right to vote, then such ruling would hit that person _regardless_ of which party he or she¹ is in. And it would also prevent those people from running as independent candidates. So I think going after individuals vs. going after parties is not an either-or. It would make sense to do both.

¹ I don't think AfD has enby members.
That is roughly correct, although:
The successor organization would still need its own proceeding where proof needs to be provided that the successor organization is actually successor of a banned party. But that's all that is needed to ban a successor org.
I might be able to get used to being around nude sauna users. But I wouldn't want to be nude myself when using a sauna. Unortunately, I live in an area that doesn't have any single Texitilsauna within range. Looks like the only way how I can ever sauna in my neighborhood will be by suing the owner of a sauna.

Yes, both Aldis are quite similar. Actually, they recently became even more similar because they unified their off-brand sortiment, with both companies discontinuing part of their off-brand items in favor of products from the other side of the Aldi equator. Trader Joe's, however, seems to be a bit more different from Aldi.
Btw, IIRC, the reason why the two Aldis split was a dispute over whether or not to sell cigarettes. But these days, both Aldis have cigarettes.

THis is alarming. BUT: This is just Aldi US which is still controlled by Aldi Süd in Germany. To me this doesn't look like a change in corporate values. This is a corporation that is afraid of Donald Trump. They don't LIKE doing this.
@Vittelius @courageousstep
Generally, I like the idea of boycotting the US.
However, I'm not sure if we should hit the entire country. I'm wondering... Would it be better if we supported anti-Trump businesses instead of boycotting all of the US equally? That's a question.

Actually, there are territories which are inside the single market but outside the customs union. Take Heligoland, for instance. If you ship several bottles of Cassis de Dijon from France to Heligoland, you have to pay duty on the French liquor but local authorities can't confiscate the bottle over the low alcohol content.
