Welcome to web 4.0, where the vocal minority monopolizes all of our feeds

This mirrors what’s happening with men of the same age in the US.

Every so often I’m reminded about Lemmy, about its existence across multiple proprietary servers, and about this thing here for piracy. If the ship goes down I’d like to keep sailing.

Love Island looks like it’s available on BT4G.org

Thank you! Finding new communities has been…challenging. Finding new communities is like mining and finally clearing away enough dirt to go “Aha! There you are!”

I’m surprised that more subs have been apathetic or disagreeable to a continued blackout. Everybody’s doing polls that turn into keep-us-open-because-community. As @MrJizzard said up above (how can I tag users on here?) maybe blind support for Reddit’s moves is just what happens when users are cut off from scrolling through their content.

Thank god for Lemmy

I guess

This wouldn’t be a proper Reddit replacement if an anonymous user didn’t take the time out of his day to type that “free rein” was the correct spelling here

That knowledge is with the users who propagated it and they can do it again

[–] halfpipe@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 years ago

I think there is a way to do it, but redditors have been encountering problems accessing the feature necessary for this kind of deletion.

It's definitely not as streamlines as reddit, but 18 years ago reddit wasn't streamlined, either

Good luck to us all!
