Ok. So do you think EV makers make it easy to repair them? Because they sure as hell don't. On paper you can, I agree with that. But they lock the software and hardware in bizzare ways, so that you have to go to a certified mechanic.
Have you ever fixed an older combustion engine vehicle? You watch a youtube video and a few hours later, you can, in most cases, at least get the car to a state so you can drive it to a mechanic. On modern combustion engine vehicles this is still possible, although a bit more difficult.

Funny thing is, they didn't pay. I installed Office 365 and activated it with my own key, and you bet I haven't put any parental control on there. I even checked if it enabled itself by chance, but it didn't. She also signed into the PC with her account, but the issue existed before we used any Microsoft account...
The original one was a Microsoft account, the on my install is local
When it locks, it simply shows a regular Windows... window, that says something about usage time (trying to translate from our language). It doesn't turn off completely

Yep, I imaged my friend's game drive to test this out (they have many games) and sure enough, some didn't work after booting into Windows and later launching them with WINE. Thanks for the clarification :)
Why not NTFS? Back when I used to dual-boot, I always used the NTFS on my shared games drive. Never had any problems, especially with ntfs-3g on Linux

While I do agree that most things in life are somehow connected to politics and that it needs to be discussed, when I come somewhere, in real life or online, and I want to chill out, I really don't want to hear about it. Political communities exist, even here on Lemmy. Let's keep politics out of cooking, meme, and other not politically oriented communities please :)
