A few ideas:

I have a few of the Flashbacks and an Atari gamestation pro. These might meet your needs.

ETA: Sorry, I'm kind of rushing this morning and didn't read your entire post. Some Flashbacks do use wired controllers. I picked up a couple at a thrift store for cheap. I've only used my gamestation pro on a table which makes the line of sight thing pretty easy (for me).

Thanks for sharing this.

What an interesting list. I am very surprised at how many of these I've never heard of and how good those look.

I own some of these but I think I'll try to buy the rest.

I think North Korea and Siberia have labor camps that provide free room and board. The pay is shit, tho.

Image search might be pretty easy.

Why do you want a toy made from REAL cat?

If they were to design that so the waste fell into the moat then it seems like a great design.

Just don't drink out of the moat.

I would prefer to throw that baby out with the bathwater.

Given how corrupt this is now it seems wiser that this just not be a thing at all. I see your point, but I believe it will encourage backsliding to the insanity we have now.

Maybe in 20 years.

I agree that the situation in the article is complicated and that these homeless people were not exactly saints.

My point above is that these homeless people living in tents in an empty lot in January are worse off than the homeless people in the article that OP references. Those homeless people live in cars in a protected lot which I think is a big improvement from tent life.

I don't know how or why asset forfiture was ever allowed, moral, or legal but it should have been outlawed a very long time ago.

Legalized thievery is worse than actual theft. It is corrupt and morally bankrupt.

Honestly, this is a lot better / more hopeful than other stories. These people are doing far better than the homeless in tents. In winter.

Like these poor people: https://www.startribune.com/minneapolis-nenookaasi-homeless-encampment-packs-up-and-moves-three-blocks-south/600332431/
