Most of the "current" ones because I have not really watched TV for years. I see a lot of stuff on social media about them which is the only way I know that they exist.
Kinda stretches the comcept of "comic" WAY too far, IMHO.
It did not start out as an English word. It came from the Miami-Illinos language to Algonquin and/or Ojibwe to French then to English. So applying English language rules to a non-English word will be difficult.
But as AbouBenAdhem suggests ITT, treating it like the French word "Quebecquois" makes a lot of sense.

I think I used self checkout once in my life. I very quickly realized that they're pushing their work onto me and never went to self checkout again.
I also think those jobs matter. Not great jobs, sure. But they are jobs. I'm sure tech will eliminate cashier jobs someday but I don't see self checkout doing so.
