I'm pretty sure none of them thought about that because they're basically just doing this out of anger. They know it won't change reddits decision so they want to take it away from all the users that don't really care about third party apps or mod tools.

I was always under the assumption it was some weird alt right thing where they just pretend criticism of China gets censored.
Voat was always going to be a cesspool because of the actual reason they were migrating in the first place. A bunch of hate subs got banned and the kind of people who would be upset enough to boycott that are shit heads so it was inevitable.

This is one of the jokes I hate the most on reddit. Someone doing a thing another person said they didn't like. It's so played out and one of the reasons I was trying to branch off from reddit.
