Counterpoint: a greater number have touched a vagina (but that framing doesn't obsess over a woman's sexual purity, so, clearly less important)

It's been several years, but I've received something similar from UHC, maybe only a few sentences shorter. This reads to me like the same bs put through an LLM.
I did get them to cover their denied service, btw, after faxing over the world's thinnest-disguised pissy letter of contest to their decision. I'm not an easy person to anger but let me tell you, I saw red when I got that denial.
Are you sure they are intending it in a diminutive sense and not a familiar or affectionate sense? Buddy is pretty common to call people you are being friendly with in American English at least. If you don't like a nickname or term of endearment, you can tell your friends not to use it, but fair warning, friends of your age might just tease you about it instead of respecting your wishes.
Most of this is minutia that I am not in an informed enough position to comment on, but what a take three quarters into the article that they should keep their local cops because they don't have an inquest process when people are killed! Like, no dude, it's actually good that cops have to do the bare minimum investigation if someone dies on their watch. It ought to be more!
Seems like the author is a conservative radio host so I'd take most of this article with a huge grain of salt.
Bad news there, Adams won on a ranked choice primary (NYC's first I believe). I think there are bigger issues at play with corruption and campaign spending here. Also the NYC challenge, don't pick a total dick head for mayor, impossible edition.
For most people who menstruate, they bleed for around 7 days but that's not the number of days spent in pain, which are typically 1-3 days with varying levels discomfort. Peak discomfort may only be for a few hours when appropriately treated. Flexibility here might include working from home if an option, where you can be under a heat pack and well medicated, up to time off (partial days off here can be important!). People who need to take multiple days off a month for this 1) probably would do it anyway and maybe call it a headache or something else instead, and 2) may need further medical care and attention (that they may be able to receive if they aren't spending all of their sick time on this one issue).

Given that the council will get to replace her within 20 days of resignation and voters won't be able to vote until next November, what does this mean for the council make up over the next year? Another member bowing to NIMBY and pro-police pressures?
Not anymore, we're doing HOT TO GO now!
Definitely not expecting you alone to solve this issue! I am speaking generally to anyone reading to be aware of the tangible effects of these policy decisions on actual people who, under even pretty strict definitions, didn't do anything wrong.
The solution to feeling powerless as an individual, btw, is to find like-minded people and organize! In 2017 people came together to stop ICE agents in airports, on Greyhound busses, and more. No one is asking folks to be John Wick.
Just a reminder to folks who are sympathizing but hesitant, DACA are people brought over as minors. They did not have any decision making in coming here legally or not and largely haven't grown up outside the US. They are Americans, plain and simple. Regardless of the legal system at play here, morally and ethically they belong in their home in the US. We need to fight the idea of deportation being acceptable here (and broadly as well). Please stand up for your neighbors!
