We need to make our own organizations not run on the profit motive alone

Nice little business you got there, thriving. Would be a shame if private equity bought it now, wouldn't it.

We need to do something about the fiscalization of fucking everything before we start giving human rights to greenbacks.

We are in a society that has fallen prey to a memetic money religion and wishful infinite returns thinking.

Kind of a gross generalization.

Do you even look at your fellow motorists? Its hard to go more than 5 minutes without seeing someone texting and driving.

Neither do I and I never said I did.

Then why are you complaining about their legitimate use of the public space we all have an equal right to?

The traffic laws as applied to bicycles are stupid and a result of shite infrastructure that forces them to share the road with cars. And don't "bUt iTs ThE lAw" me either.

The games industry is built upon the idea of exploiting the young and talented, and every MBA involved in management should be fucking ashamed. Games are the pinacle of the human persuit of increased leisure time.. When we do get to post-scarcity, post-work, its all we'll do together.

The money is the problem, as is the MBA mills churning out poisonous "leaders" with no grasp of their product, just knowledge of how to squeeze returns.

Everyone makes fun of coding bootcamps, but the MBA mills and babies first economics classes are fucking ruining our societies.

"Going to talk to my mother and being updated about all the extended family goings on" is a valid option.

Facebook and publicly branding yourself is for feeding bigtech pictures of you and your loved ones faces. Don't do that.

The car is 2 tons of protective steel. The man on the bicycle is made out of flesh and bones and a little bit of aluminium scaffolding pole, maybe some carbon fiber. One of these is commutiing and not paying attention. The other is engaged in exercise and controlled risk (controlled risk in the same way some people opt to ride motorcycles). I do not begrudge someone working their body in a public space.

They have exactly the same right to be crawling up the hill at 3mph as I do in a crawler gear driving a truck up hill. We're both holding up traffic, but you don't get upset at me because my goods vehicle would crush your passenger car like a bug. Why the contradiction?

If you can't see the difference in potential energy (and potential probability for a fatal outcome) then you're just as lost.

Some people have access to corporate cast-offs, so there are some people sat on massive supplies of used gear.. It all disappears somewhere eventually 🤭

If I never have to hear Tim Sweeny's stupid opinions again, Disney can have it.

I want to get rid of coal, but also want to increase nuclear power. I exist. I am people.

Newsflash, dipshit, you're not the player character.

You clearly aren't getting it and I checked the rest of your messages, so I'm rescinding my benefit of the doubt. Last comment.

If it dries a little and "peels" off from somewhere deep inside.. and the relief that comes with something 4" deep in my sinuses being dislodged is one of lifes great moments.
