i'll keep a note of that, a couple people have also suggested alternatives to canvas expansion

i'm glad you enjoyed the event, it was really fun to run (and fix bugs for) :)

there's an issue to write instructions on how to setup the environment

the server requires the authentication server to be fediverse-auth with the current implementation, but there's an issue to add support for other providers

(once the documentation is written i'll be putting it in #canvas-meta:aftermath.gg to keep people in the loop)

i've created an issue to track this :)

this error was being sent by the server, so somewhere along the chain your computer got desynced from the pixels the server was aware about

the alternative template styles were a bit last minute, so i originally missed adding the numbers to the palette 😅

why didn't lemmy community actors get put on a subdomain? (toast.ooo)
 

always wondered this, but kept forgetting to post it

eg users would be on @grant@toast.ooo and a community would be on @canvas@group.toast.ooo or something like that

then it would still follow the AP spec but still allow for identical identifiers (like a user account being @sc07@toast.ooo and a community also being [!sc07@toast.ooo](/c/sc07@toast.ooo))

basically what the title says

the ones i'm aware of:

  • google's recaptcha
  • ~~cloudflare's~~ hcaptcha

cloudflare being better for privacy compared to google, but still not great afaik

I created a Content Warning PeerTube instance to share clips from the game (spook.tube)
 

i love content warning on steam and noticed the in-game youtube clone can be used directly in a domain, and i immediately thought of peertube

this peertube instance is intended for the game clips that are generated in-game such as this one

i'd love to add a steam login feature to expand but we'll see lol

enjoy
