Pretty much, just got a custom cordovan leather watch band and I'm excited to wear it to a formal occasion

I previously posted a few ago regarding the best leather watch band and was kindly directed to Bandwerk. They had lots of good options but I decided to go with the Cordovan leather. Here are some various photos below!

The leather is very nice and smooth. Definitely as advertised. The butterfly clasp makes it much easier to put on the band and adds some flair to it. Very happy with my purchase!

Same bro, probably is. Gotta wear it less tight. But then it moves around more, even more annoying when washing hands, worse if it's leather and gets wet.

  1. Battery life - I want to avoid charging my watch as much as possible as I'm a charging freak
  2. Better display
  3. Better durability
  4. Want to get the "top of the line" as a status symbol
  5. Futureproof

Many people are against screen protectors and cases on an ultra. It's often compared to having a case for the Nokia phone, lol.

Personally, I've tried the Spigen case that has a built in screen protector which sucks because the sweat got trapped inside.

However, I currently have the Spigen Case as well as their screen protector, installed separately. Is it needed, no. Does it provide you with a peace of mind against scratches on your lovely watch/screen? Yes. It will help protect resale value. Plus, the case makes it much harder to accidently trigger the action button which was always a pet peeve of mine.

Thank you for the recommendation. Why chose the modern over the traditional?

I see Amazon only has the modern so I'm tempted to at least try it, although I do prefer the traditional look. I can't really tell the difference between the 2 in regards to quality,

Not a bad idea, just don't wanna wait so long for it. I'm also a bit skeptical of the site but I've heard lots of good and bad on both sides. I'll look into it.

Anyone have any experience with the following Leather Watch Bands and can provide their input?

  1. Casetify Genuine Leather Watch Band. - Many years ago I purchased Casetify's Saffiano leather apple watch band which wasn't half bad. I still have it to this day but sadly I let it get exposed to water and didn't take care of it so it's tearing apart on me after all this time. I like how I can put my initials on the band and I'm hoping the genuine leather, with proper care can be utilized for years. https://www.casetify.com/product/genuine-leather-color-watchband-customization/apple-watch-42/genuine-leather-color-watchband#/16000478
  2. Nomad Leather Watch Band - Probably (?) similar to the above, Nomad has been known for their leather and I'm tempted. I am unsure if I want this one, or the more expensive Horween leather below. https://nomadgoods.com/products/modern-leather-band-brown-black-hardware-44mm . Looking at some reviews in the sub, apparently their leather bands quality is not as good as I had once thought. A bit of mixed reviews, mostly for the worst.
  3. Nomad Horween Leather Watch Band - The most expensive option and the one I'm leaning towards. Apparently they create the color naturally instead of with chemicals and they choose better quality than normal? $20 for an upgrade isn't a huge deal and I want something nice. https://nomadgoods.com/products/modern-leather-band-rustic-brown-horween-black-hardware-44mm

Note: I don't know jack sh** about leather. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
