Yeah but polar opposite in temperment

It's not like Hamas is like that. Oh wait they are! There's Christisn Hamas. There's smugglers and the civil servants like the health ministry.

This T-shirt decorative windowshade doesn't represent the most leftist of forces. However that is irrelevant to whether or not Lebanon has the right to self defense

What's wrong with baseball and basketball?

I've been watching for 25yrs. The rules are crazy complex and more complex than chess or any other sport. Complex rules don't make for a smarter game though. Now the rules are getting more complex in the name of player safety.

Smartest sport is definitely Chess Boxing

Rugby is safer for that reason. Players learn the helmet can be a weapon so then the rules committee had to ban that.

There's gambling. I'm a stats nerd so I gamble tiny $ on football games because of that. It's a lot of fun.

Aha. I should've read the top comment before making a long one defending football.

Hey now! I like American Football. It brings joy to millions of Americans and to the players lucky enough to get paid to do it and not have catastrophic brain damage.

Plenty of things cause brain damage. Most Zs and Millenials on the left support the legalization of drugs.

War causes much more brain damage and mental problems than football and we have far more soldiers than football players. Abolish war!

If you know there was some product and buying obviously helps fund a sketchy lifestyle, you can compare that businesman's faulty morals and weigh it against corporate boardrooms. The guy selling stolen jewelry probably has more of a conscience than the company.

Economics is often about externalizing costs that are natural or ones that are moral, emotional and human. I don't think a single boardmember would ever see their resource extraction through and witness human pain and anguish the way agents of black markets do.

I believe your average sweatshop operator is the criminal you'd be comparing the businessman down the capitalist chain of command and everyone knows than humans are the least moral to traffick. Even if it's just labor trafficking it's a bad look. Some poor Bangladeshi overseer probably takes the fall far too often. Not always because his crapshack factory collapsed.

I don't really watch much YT and only know of Bread Tube by hearing people criticize it. Although I've heard of Contrapoints and was shown a short skit that was unremarkable

Yeah that's unfortunate as I've checked into it. He opposed the installed president but also opposed Aristide. I spent too much time checking into that

Edit: I'm deciding to leave this up as there's some good info. It looks like he opposed empire but wanted to personally profit. The Haitian earthquake brought out all sorts of shadiness
