Literally says on the screen "Exiting and Reentering vehicle might restore operation." I hate the future.

Also you kinda need to have those domestic companies producing Widgets. If not you are just making Widgets more expensive with no payoff.

I do have a Kärcher Vaccum for home use. It's the VC3.
It's not particularly fancy but you can buy spare parts if you need them and it works well.

I'm so old that i remember when your Phone could accept AAA Batteries in lieu of the rechargeable battery pack if you were in a bind (Alcatel one touch easy).

I love my FP5. And the removeable Battery is a nice party trick to pull in room full of techies :D

Old big EMCO lathes had phenolic gears in their gearbox. I know because I got to rebuild one and that was one surprise I came actross and that day I learned about phenolic gears.
Probably also useful as a safety shear point. Better to grind a phenolic gear to dust that to break something expensive.

Also I will never forget the smell of the gear oil.
