Aegis is great. It just works and it's reliable. No reason to switch in my opinion. Even though, unlike most other "authenticators", the app provides easy ways to export your secrets to another app if you wanted.

Bummer, my computer hasn't had one of these in quite some time.

How does one safely use cash over the internet?

I have run across one that allowed arbitrary length when doing account creation and password reset but silently truncated the login input.

Took me hours to figure out that my password was longer than the documented length, try it and then have no problems.

Progressive web apps are your friend. They can install through edge having their own icon and task bar button, but they are just the same web just in a special tab with the aforementioned behaviour.

Are you using Claude web chat or Claude code? Because my experience with it is vastly different eve when using the same underlying model. Clause code isn't perfect and gets stuff wrong, but it can run the project check the output and realize it's mistake and fix it in many cases. It doesn't fix logic flaws, but it can fix hallucinations of library methods that don't exist.

Makes me wonder how many on here were around when the term was coined and the behaviour was mostly expected.

I don't recall the source, but I remember learning this (maybe at a museum exhibit on smoking effects on the body?) sometime in the mid 90s. This graphic mirrors my memory that by 15+ years your body has mostly recovered to as if you hadn't started.

Power usage on an electric blower is very different than other power tools. With a drill you are not constantly revving it. You use it for a few seconds to drive a screw and then setup for the next one. With the blower it's running continuously.

I have a drill than can run on a battery for most of a days work, while my leaf blower using the same batteries gets maybe 20 minutes of use, if I am conserving it.

I'm not a landscaper, so maybe it can be done, but I'll believe electric is better when the landscaping companies start using electric tools, just like carpenters switched from wired to battery when it made sense.

Some of these are extreme, but what you're talking about is the https://512kb.club/, just keep it small, but no limits on what you can use.

That top bezel looks pretty thick. Otherwise very interesting.

The bit about only visiting four zones really hits home. The original appeal was the massive nature of the world, but they have somehow managed to lose that essence. Often the quality of life features like match making and dungeon finder are blamed, but the fact that addons surfaced to fill those same holes in classic are evidence to me that wasn't the problem. The problem was abandoning the massive world that was built ajd players loved.
