Trams deserve to be separate from car and bike traffic: it allows trams to be faster than cars and it protects cyclists from falls. We need to stop thinking that cars should be everywhere by default.

A taxi is not really better than any other private vehicle, other than being less affordable. That, in turn, means that poor people will be further disadvantaged.

For people with good enough mobility, we should facilitate walking, cycling, and public transit. That said, I understand some people have such poor mobility that they can't walk to a bus stop, so there will always be a need for taxis, but private vehicles need to be the last resort for human transport.

"Driver kills a cyclist. Again".

Journalists, please stop the bullshit passive voice. It is "Shooter kills kid", not "Kid struck by bullet".

For sure one of the reasons I voted for her is the fact that she regularly rides a bike. Living in a city that is designed entirely around facilitating car traffic is challenging for somebody who prefers walking or cycling. Cars are noisy, dangerous and polluting. It sucks to live around traffic, but it's all my family can afford.
