  1. Linux tutorials need to get idiot proof.
  2. They need to work on giving people knowledge about driver support. "Why doesn't my bluetooth/sound/wifi work anymore?" shouldn't be such a common issue for people switching to those OSs.
  3. If Recall is sending your information to offsite servers, what's stopping people from flooding those servers with bs?

People don't vote, including leftists. Not voting isn't going to make politicians shift left, either way.

Really matters what your activity level is. Getting sweaty and working out daily = shower daily, imo.

Only 73% of the voting aged population is registered. Only 65% of the voting population voted. I'm not sure what the ideological breakdown of non voters is, but I'm positive leftists are in there.

however it’s bullshit to blame leftists for democrats consistently failing their voter base.

Agreed, but they can still be blamed for not physically going to vote.

Do those giant piles go to the voting booths, or are they pinky promising to do so when the general election comes around, next time?

Unfortunately I think it's more a matter of not getting worse faster. Downward trajectory hard to change within the time period they had. We did get the ACA under Obama, even though the Republicans gutted it. Better than what it was. Still bad. But they're not the party making it as bad, comparatively.

It's a hard truth of life that plenty of people who do evil still die happy and feeling like they've won.

Not only was the apology horrible, but for any user on that platform for YEARS: obviously puts the thought in their head that spez could be changing their words by directly editing the db, and getting them put on a list for wrong-speak. Sure, that's possible with any DB, but he proved it was actually something being done on that site. Given his role, a major red flag, as this type of action would normally result in someone being fired.

Reddit has since IPOd and is going to probably do well as a stock because of all the information it harvests from users.

That's a valid point, but

we’re not voting republican we’re voting Democrat right?

Many people are abstaining instead of voting for either party or a write in.

I don't like the idea of a 3rd party president without 3rd party representation in the senate/house/local government positions first, but I'd prefer that people vote 3rd party over not voting at all because they don't like the 2 party system.

I was making the joke about interpreting the line as if it were a mathematical equation. "x=100%" "solve for x" "x would be 100%" lol just playing around

Minimum wage isn't the only part of the economy. Raising the minimum wage would help, but lowering the cost of living (rent/mortgage/etc) would be better. Look at the econ data to see how the dems worked to try and stop the economy from becoming more unstable whjen they were in power. Republicans have historically done a much worse job at this, with the dems coming in to clean up their mess. Not saying either party is good, but the pattern is straightforward.
