It's different than a scone, which is dense. Southern USA has a special kind of flour we use when we make our biscuits that has lower protein and gluten content. It makes for a much softer dough, and a softer end result.
I want desperately to leave my country and go to another one, bring some of our soft red winter wheat seeds with me, and begin making southern (US) style biscuits for the masses somewhere else. I'd make biscuits n gravy and I'd share them with the world.

Voyager doesn't allow users on dbzer0 which is such a disappointment.
I'm biased here. I'm still against .world and their tendency to use "legality" as a smokescreen. (Blaming it for banning Luigi content right after he axed that United guy has earned my ire forever.)
However... I'm almost 40, and it was always the rule to never mention your age until it didn't matter. So on the one hand, world loves to use legality to push it's agenda. On the other hand, this is an expected outcome.

Treatment for ADHD is (not always, but often) stimulant medication. There's no herb you can grow at home to treat that, and that's a good thing, because the stuff we use to treat ADHD apparently turns neurotypicals into addicts.
Divide by zero (the instance I'm on) takes donations. People who donate get a nifty flair in the governance threads, but you don't have to donate to vote on issues the server faces. (We also allow non-members to vote, though since they're not as impacted by decisions made for the instance, their votes are given lower weights.)
You might enjoy knowing that we have an anarchist instance at dbzer0. (It's the one I'm on.)
Be careful with letting someone else guide you in this way. Everyone has individual tastes.
I'm on dbzer0, which is an instance for pirates and anarchists. But I found it by having an account on a random instance and browsing lemmy for a long time before choosing to move here.
Just don't get too attached to where your account is, feel out the fediverse, and then you can decide.
