Ooh, this is the first I've seen with alternate milks. I adore oatmilk, and while I use milk and buttermilk all the time in baking, I don't really like how they taste outside of that specific instance.

Thanks a ton for this! I'm getting quite a list of recipes!

Oh! I love these! I made them all the time as a kid! (I'm in Tennessee.)

I actually adore buttermilk. Well, I adore the way it acts when I cook with it, and the flavor it imparts. I do not love the smell even a little, but that's the price we pay for buttermilk! Thanks for your contribution.

I actually love a long post (in general). Thanks very much for the share!

I appreciate that you shared it, though! Definitely more effort than I was looking for here, but I enjoyed the video!

And if anybody needs it, I empowered myself by thinking about things I wished a mom would do for me, and then learned to do them for myself, but also for others!

So if you might need a spare Mom, hmu!

She wouldn't ask, but she would be desperate to move in with me and get away from her extremely abusive mother.

I wouldn't wait for her to ask. She'd have a place to stay here until she didn't need it anymore, and I'd begin working on all those problems of hers... If she let me!

So I'm an older lady, and when I was young, I was told many interesting things by women who were quite old (at the time.)

My mother's family is from Siciliy.

Anyway all I'm saying is this sort of thing happened a lot, and if necessary, it will happen again.

Coincidentally, I'm almost 40 and have never married... but I haven't been single in many, many years. Those stories will stick with ya, and there's no need for divorce where there's no marriage.

I have terrible news for you.

People on the internet will argue about anything, regardless of whether it makes sense or not. I get that you're trying to stir up a specific type of person, so you can antagonize them, and I respect that, but you can't assume anything you say will go uncontested.

It's smart to pick the fight you want to have, but you don't even have to try that hard. And there will be lots of places on the internet where people, even ones who agree with you, aren't trying to see reminders of the kind of stupid shit that exists in this world. That's okay! You can't spend every minute of your day engaging with assholes like your post might have attracted! It's bad for the long-term health.

Anyway, good luck. I hope you get whatever stimulus you were hoping for, and have a good day.

Any community member is allowed to rule on any action placed here. We've even had mods pre-emptively post their own actions here for judgement. That's not stirring the pot, that's normal community engagement. (It would be stirring the pot if she had engaged with the topic, and not the mod action. Big diff.)

I really didn't want to actually post a response here but your mugging for the audience, "hey look at this comment!" behavior is such a pet peeve of mine. If you're going to accuse Ada of being a zionist, accuse her. If you're going to complain about the mod action, do that. But "here's a quote from someone else, and I'm going to side-eye the situation" is so... gutless, and adds nothing.

I was a big fan. There were some less awesome ones, and some very awesome ones, and some dropped storylines, but overall I recommend.

I get by on never taking my meds on my days off. It works pretty well for me. I'm aware I might be one of the lucky ones.
