I bring my laptop to the kitchen and take calls if they come in. I check my email while eating.

I get everything done I need to do. My boss is actually great and encourages us to prioritize being happy, as long as we get everything done in a reasonable amount of time.

Everyone wins this way.

I specifically remember trump saying something about bringing back yellow light 😮‍💨

Fuck that lol. I wake up at 7:55, open my laptop, clock in at 7:56, then bring my laptop into the kitchen and eat breakfast.

Corporations who are pushing the narrative that people don't like this are out of their mind.

Connect was definitely my main before this. It is actually not terrible. It is aggressively okay even. Lots of nice features. But it just doesn't feel as smooth as sync for some reason. Maybe it's the language that it was coded in? I'm not sure why but sync just feels buttery.

Totally agreed. Make a good app, I'll use it. FOSS is nice but honestly I just want a great experience. Right now Sync is the only one offering that. All of the other apps range somewhere between bad and eh... Fine.

Duuuude same here. Feels good.

If it comes from a large corporation, its probably ethical, since they are exploiting you (or others) in an unethical way.

If it's an indie team (or one man team for that matter) then it's probably unethical.

Yeah it's pretty dead brained. Obviously America has problems and I'll be the first one to point out it's flaws. I do my best to learn about them and be aware of them.

That doesn't mean that China gets to genocide anyone they don't like.

Heh yeah nintendo and Japan in general are consistently behind the curve when it comes to tech trends at this point.

The best way I've heard it describes is: They have been in 2011 for the last 30 years.

For the lazy:

HB 1181 would issue public health warnings including claims that porn use “increases the demand for prostitution, child exploitation, and child pornography.” Claims that are included in the health warnings laid out by the bill suggest that porn use is “potentially biologically addictive, is proven to harm human brain development, desensitizes brain reward circuits, increases conditioned responses, and weakens brain function.” Or, that exposure to porn “is associated with low self-esteem and body image eating disorders, impaired brain development, and other emotional and mental illnesses.” Note how they use the term “exposure” as if a person watching porn was exposed to a real disease.
