I fucking hate the cold but I'm also lazy and hate wearing clothes. If it's just a bit I'll take the hit just to avoid putting (more) stuff on.

I think people's issue is that you (the west) is funding one side of it.

I'm pretty isolationist too though. Pull the funding to both sides. Let them figure it out themselves (Israel will probably not exist in the end of this scenario).

Netanyahu and his cohorts have explicitly said they believe they need to kill every last Palestinian. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2023/11/benjamin-netanyahu-amalek-israel-palestine-gaza-saul-samuel-old-testament/

I don't think Hogwarts was made by conservatives though, was it? One of the main characters is transgender. It seemed like it was a direct "fuck you" to jk rolling.

It was kinda a boring game, but so are a lot of aaa goty bait games.

I remember something similar to this when my mom died 15 years ago. Lots of aunt's and friends reaching out to my sister to support her, traveling across the country to visit. I don't think I ever even got a note.

But I do have the thing where I probably wouldn't have cared either, if not for watching the support my sister got, it never would have occurred to me someone could do those things. And I know those people aren't my actual friends, so I really had zero expectations from them. I think it was more the insult on top of injury that bothered me. "Not only do we not care, but we're going to show you what we would be doing if we did care."

I never took this as a boy/girl thing though. I never fit in in life, still to this day. Just sorta expected.

I'm for making the court big. Make it inconsequential when one joins or leaves. Make it 100 and they can help 10x as many people a year.

Do Linux settings translate to osx... At all? I'm struggling to think of any I use across both. Maybe bash.rc?

Osx config is mostly running arcane commands to set registry settings.

I'll never understand people who struggle with windows and like osx. They seem basically identical to me at this point.

I mean, you could just use Firefox or safari, or anything not chromium really. Yeah Moz will take money from search revenue, but they've proven over and over google doesn't tell them what to do.

Heck, chrome exists because google tried to firce Moz to ship a shitty bookmarks implementation, and Mozilla said no years ago. It's literally just an example of a "I'm going to take my ball and go home" tantrum.

I think they probably learned this number from the iOS tracking opt in. It's not as large as people like to think. People don't like being tracked, but they'll trade it for free stuff pretty easily.

It seems like putting a lawyer in jail would just be a recipe for delaying a trial though. They can't be expected to provide defense if they're locked up. Or do they just require you to find new counsel?

Any normal defendent would be in jail though, probably before the trial even started, but definitely after calling a judge names while in court. I'm simultaneously shocked and not at all surprised he isn't.
