Do 12 year olds even know what a check is these days?

This, tbh.
I think neurodiversity vs neurotypical is the wrong way of looking at things anyways. I think neurodiversity is a term that describes how diverse the different neurotypes are. Just as with other types of diversity, you can't say there's only one type that's normal and the rest abnormal.
I don't have kids, but it stopped being a thing around 2010-2015ish for me. It does feel like it's been on the downswing since the 90s, but maybe that's just because I could never afford to hang out at the bar, haha.
I thought the point was that we no longer have this. I'm a millennial, and when I was in my 20s, we used to hang out at Denny's a couple times each week.
Now the policy has changed and the prices have gone up. We can't afford to eat out, and even if you can, you aren't allowed to hang out for hours chatting with your friends anymore.
And here I thought this wasn't Reddit
Maybe there's a terminology problem, but I thought each condo unit was individually owned? Like, if you've got a tower block, and everybody owns their own domicile within it, it's a condo, but if they're owned by a landlord and rented out, it's an apartment.
So the condo association here is the 'means of production' since they're providing housing services. Ideally, it'd be owned by the workers (who would ideally also be condo owners) and they'd split any profits evenly.
I love when fanfic gets canonized by public consensus.
The problem with exile, is that it doesn't actually solve the problem, it's just putting the problem somewhere else.
Yeah, there is sometimes a grain of truth to that sort of thing. I gotta be real careful talking about a lot of my experiences, because I know they sound like right-wing talking points, and I don't want to give them ammo against my side, y'know? It's frustrating, but there are bigger problems that need to be solved first.
"The spectrum" usually means ASD, but neurodiversity is much much larger and encompasses other neurotypes as well.
