  • Completing the work around new touchpad functionality for Haiku. This work now allows for two-finger scrolling, edge motion, software button areas, and click finger support. Newer Elantech touchpads are now supported too.

  • The Realtek rtl8125 driver has been synced with upstream OpenBSD for improving support for some newer networking hardware.

  • Haiku has implemented more functionality mandated by the POSIX 2024 specification.

  • Fixing some missing locking in the file panel constructor to fix broken open/save panel appearances throughout various apps.

  • A disk image menu is finally added to DriveSetup so that disk images can be worked from that GUI without resorting to the command line.

The Movie

A latency-hating emulator of: the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro and Archimedes, Amstrad CPC, Apple II/II+/IIe and early Macintosh, Atari 2600 and ST, ColecoVision, Enterprise 64/128, Commodore Vic-20 and Amiga, MSX 1/2, Oric 1/Atmos, early PC compatibles, Sega Master System, Sinclair ZX80/81 and ZX Spectrum.

This release improves composite decoding on the Mac, and significantly improves the entire video pipeline on OpenGL targets:

  • to give it the same quality of composite decoding as on the Mac;
  • to reduce aliasing in all video modes; and
  • better to fit the emulated machine to whatever window shape you select.

It also better unifies this emulator's use of the two APIs to try to avoid one falling far behind the other again in the future.

The first release candidate of the big NetBSD 11.0 release is now available for testing.

NetBSD 11.0 is headlined by better RISC-V support and improved Linux binary emulation. There are also various new drivers for hardware sensors and fan controls, PVH boot support is now supported on x86 non-Xen platforms like QEMU and Firecracker, and a wealth of package updates. There is GCC 12.5, GDB 15.1, OpenSSH 10.0, and many other upgrades.

Judge him by his size, do you? This week, we're heading back to the Age of the Primes once again, for a look at another of the legendary original Thirteen Transformers - master of the Microverse, maker of the Micronauts, the father of all Mini-Cons, MICRONUS PRIME!

Hypseus is a SDL2 version of Daphne and Singe. Laserdisc game emulation.

  • An MS Windows Game Controller Rumble issue has been fixed.
  • The addition of direct support for the Cliff OX v1.1 ROM by the DLP guys.
  • This is a minor release to accomodate frontend launcher development.
  • Announcing the MS Windows 'Borf' Launcher for Hypseus by Widge:

Thanks. I did not know those.

Even if they take it down, another fork will appear soon after, until then this can be used for switch emulation. They probably prefer Github because it more popular and can attract more contributors. But agree something like codeberg would have been better. Maybe they could have hosted and on codeberg and the github repository just links to codeberg to attract developers.

I see, thank you.

These seem fair to block.

Kotaku was not much a surprise to me, since I have heard lots of negative stuff about them. I used it here as an example. Most websites on the list are easy to figure out why they were banned from url name alone. https://nichegamer.com/ was the one which I do not know why it was banned.

Thank you but this is a list of blocked instances. I am looking for blocked websites like kotaku.

I will try it if I do not find another solution.

I found the steam library file but when the I delete the file the game crashes. With the heroic the game just crashes after a long black screen. No info on db or itch.io I left a comment on itch.io. The game is native Linux so no proton is needed. Maybe I should try running the windows version.

[–] falseprophet@piefed.social 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I am not sure the game has DRM it seems more like Steam recognizes it as game from it own store and thinks there should be a license for it. I could be wrong though.
