So are you telling me it's like the wedding tax but for firetruck?

Oh open your markets, let us sell our products in your country, but no intellectual transfers, give us cheap labour but we won't give you better farming technologies, you can lease those technologies, pay heavy royalties, we will sell you defense equipment, but we won't teach you how to service them, we will charge you exorbitant fees to maintain your defense equipment.

We are trying to be your friend, why won't you be my friend?

Same with WhatsApp for me, there are new terms and conditions that allow engagement with businesses and sharing some personal data with them, I've been rejecting that shit for four years now, they still keep asking.

I think I've started to just outright ignore comments from big servers, trolls everywhere

Choosing the right level of income is the key for UBI to work, it has to be enough to live and survive but not so much that a recipient can enjoy luxury. Most people like to contribute to society, being is social is how humans are so dominant as a species.

Most people will contribute to the economy if they can, because it supports ambition, better lifestyle but it doesn't put pressure to worry about where today's food is going to be, people take more risks, be more entrepreneurial, explore more curiosity, explore new ideas, people spend time on acquiring more useful skills.

A mentally healthy mind is not entirely lazy. Being lazy perpetually reflects a deeper problem that is psychological to some degree such as having no hope or not being able to Imagine a happy future, or feeling helpless. Mentally healthy people want to contribute to society.

Economy as a whole will expand, which will pay in turn for UBI. First few years of UBI might be heavier on tax payers of the old system, but in long term UBI will lead to better economy. Question is not who is going to pay for it, question is can people agree to pay more out of their own pocket now for a better future for everyone? OR are we doomed as a species by exploiting our own kind?

What near future? Redmagic 10 pro has a very decent underscren camera that you can buy now. Only reason stupid holes in screen exist now is that mainstream phone makers are still assuming all of their customers absolutely care about taking the best selfies all the time.

Removed because I didn't read article properly and my comments were kind of invalid.

Well its normal for about 1.5 billion people with about the same fatality rate as the rest of the world. It's chaos and madness but it seems to work for them arguable about the same as organised traffic countires.

Fuck cars in general for sure, I'd prefer no death machines around me, but having lanes doesn't make it safer in my opinion, having more attentive drivers kind of makes it safer.

Yes but it's opt in, not opt out, it's not shoved down my throat unlike most other companies.

Well couple of things, it's entirely possible your friends and family are complete assholes, but sometimes people need to ask themselves how many times have they listened to someone when they want to express their negative emotions?

My wife's cousin, her entire life she's never once lent an ear to a sad friend/family, had had the audacity to tell an aunt who lost her breasts to cancer that she just brings negative energy and wouldn't be invited to any gatherings at her house, now is suffering through a divorce and cannot fathom why the whole family kind of supports the husband and not her.

Exchange Traded Funds, basically these funds pool money from a lot of small investors and give you diversified portfolio. Basically if you try to mirror S&P 500 yourself, it'll require about a few hundred thousand dollars to manage, but by pooling with other people you can have S&P 500 level diversification for 100$

I'd nominate Antimine to be added as a minesweeper clone that is FOSS and has beautiful UI. https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.lucanlm.antimine/
