Don't avocados have an insane ecological footprint?

Your link doesn't mention your statement anywhere.

But I also never said Musk is some kind of genius - don't put words in my mouth.

Instead, this is the position I maintain.

Native speakers, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's either "how is it", or "what is it like", but not "how is it like".

No offense to OP!

God this title is so dumb.

Yes, fuck Elon Musk. That doesn't mean Starship isn't still the most exciting topic in rocketry/spaceflight, and 100x more ambitious than what any other rocket manufacturer is attempting.

The Starship development cycle is hardware-rich, they have a literal conveyor belt full of rockets in various stages of completion for testing.

Their immediate goal isn't to go to orbit, they could have done that a long time ago. They're simultaneously testing hundreds of little to big changes to the vehicles with every launch. Stuff will go wrong along the way.

Thanks. I don't get this need to lie about something to make a point.

He definitely made Tesla what it is today. Through that, he and the company single-handedly changed the automotive market forever, forcing other car brands to go EV.

The same is true for SpaceX - people who claim that he's just some rich-kid CEO who has no idea of engineering and processes have no clue. Just ask the father of the Kestrel, Merlin and Raptor engines, Tom Mueller.

But anyway, it's all moot now. Elon's gone rogue, and he may or may not bring the western world down with him. Dystopia is on the horizon.

Planning and visualisation.

I feel like what is described in the first Dune book - an animal.

I only react, I don't plan, and I can only really empathize with something/someone if I experience it myself.

Also, I can't cry, not without some cheesy ass music playing in some really sad scene in a movie/show.

Had a date and we talked about things we like to do.

I mentioned that I had recently discovered that the local cinema chain offers classic movies, and that I had watched the original Jurassic Park, still fawning over it like the first time I watched it in 1993.

She said that the movie is a cute story, but "dinosaurs aren't real. Fossils aren't real. They're props, placed by them."

I nearly choked on my burger.

The date didn't last long after.

This is the most important part.
