Now, all joking aside, what's the big advanta of knowing exactly when the cycle finishes? I get that it may vary because of the new sensor driven cycles but still.... Unless you are running a laundromat and every second of machine use counts, I can ballpark it just fine

A ton of people just bought whatever "influencers" were using but I always thought we were all going to end with the same tasting meat if we just used store bought stuff so I started making my own rubs, injections, sauces, etc... then I realize it applied to other stuff and down the rabbit hole I went

The problem now is that 1) Google products turned from innovative to barely functional (with every improvement coming in a soon to be killed new app) and 2) they went from your data to show you ads to profiling people's fart strength
Now that I think of it, thesgiy e free products also differ from inflation ... You get to pay with even more of your privacy for an increasingly shittier product

I do my best to only buy raw materials or ingredients and make things the closest I can get "from scratch"
I'm fairly good at it for food and some home consumables, I make most of our: bread, soap, after shave, yogurt, beer (and food in general, of course)
Now I'm trying it for home stuff... In the last couple of years I've made our coffee table, dinning table, living room lamp, kids beds, our bed
And since my car is no longer in warranty, I've started doing all the maintenance I can on my own

I'm completely biases because I cannot find a si gle redeemable feature of SharePoint.... Hence, anything that integrates with SharePoint is just worse by doing so
Insurance companies already extrapolate such data from zip code.... So it's not speculation at all that they'd want an even more accurate metric
Basically in today's world, you'd have less than 1% of actors that would take this data and do something productive or beneficial for you or society as a whole... The other 99% will just use this data to make money on the back of others
Thank for the reply.... I do get that accessibility part for anyone with any disability...however, any device that requires manual interaction, benefits little from remote starting .. why would you put in a load but start it 8 hours later?
In any case, 100% in agreement that the fault lies with the vendors enshitification and not the product or feature .... Same with the home assistant, AI, gene mapping (23&me stuff), etc
