Yes... I love how people say PP will fix housing when he himself is a landlord and rents 2 houses.... When asked about it (mildy because the press wouldn't dare ask a direct question) he actually said he was "helping Canadians by providing house at affordable rent"
exanime
Of course it matters, climate change and global warming are not binary... It's not like if we go past x it's game over and the Earth will stop spinning, it's more like if we past x we can now expect shittier and shittier conditions and outcomes
Therefore, if we pass x by a bit, it'll be shitty but we may make it.... If we pass x by a mile and keep going, then all hope is lost
Subscription? That sucks.... I bought it outright a bit back, it was pricey, maybe $15 CAD? (Can't remember)
Sorry to hear it has gone up so much... But that does seem to be the way of the app world... Pricey, subscription (even when they cannot possibly justify it) or both!
Awesome.... Now I have to check sesame
I don't really understand this stance... I mean, yes I get what you are saying and that is exceedingly shitty you have to choose between bad and worse; but is there really "no difference"?
I mean, if you have to choose between leaving your loving family vs having your loving family killed... is it really the "same" choice?
Switched to Niagara Launcher a few years back... it's awesome... clean, fast and actually different (most other launchers are just icon packs)
how would you know?
Same thing in Canada.... How did Trudeau manage to affect Germany so much?!?!?
I think it's literally impossible to start at $0, homeless and buy an eBay phone in less than 24 hours
Maybe some used cellphone store (brick and mortar) but that would imply, at the very least, some planning ahead for this stunt
My point is that, he sets out to do x to prove you can do x from scratch but then proceeds to start with a leg up, fall far short of his own goal but calls it a victory anyway... This is exactly the meaning of "out of touch"
Edits: I can't fucking spell for shit!
That's a good question... I'm not an expert in this area but I do think it should be criminalized to a certain extent (even if it's hard to enforce)
Probably legislation should out some onus on the makers of these tools as well
That's what I was going to add... After Win7 the dissatisfaction mounted enough for me to try Linux... Then I kicked myself for not switching sooner
