Happy Birthday. I wouldn’t say “youth is officially over” at 30. But over the decade you will certainly get a sense of it “wrapping up”.

Have fun.

If I’ve learned anything about today’s technology – what’s the subscription fee?

The cuts amount to an estimated 20% of NASA's workforce, and will reduce the agency from 18,000 to 14,000 employees

Was surprised at the percentage. I didn’t see the details, and I’m sure they’re capture somewhere – but hopefully the packages are decent enough for those that do take it to either retire with a bit more or take some time to find something else.

My - very - limited searching was that it at least had a small preventative impact.

Didn’t really read the article.

I think you’re still kind of screwed if they want you in the office and you’re officially remote.

But - yes - if your manager changes that does kind of protect you from sudden expectations from them of coming in.

I vaguely recall getting about 30 days out of the free tier until I decided to start purchasing base/expansions.

So, I think I’d just say be aware that it’s probably not an “indefinitely free” kind of thing – but will give you a sufficient amount of entertainment until you want to consider if you want more.

Cheaper than firing people.
