France is on the cutting edge of AI indeed, the FAIR (Facebook AI lab) has a big office in Paris and its boss is Yann Le Cun. So there are plenty of researchers getting trained on the state of the art.

Also her face expression is so generic it doesn't convey the meaning like the original did.

Honestly if I didn't know the original I wouldn't understand the point of this one.

It's funny, they could have said they're not going to release to open source without waving those giant red flags.

Still better than if they released the same game earlier. Unless of course they kept adding features or content.

Yes, landing is difficult.

There is delaying to release a higher quality product and delaying while having features creep... Not the same thing.

I love my Bafang too but be careful of regulation depending on your country, an e-bike is 250W so of you put a more powerful motor you get in the moped category with different rules (helmet, back mirror, insurance...)

Nothing have been pretty good at marketing really, all those headlines saying "Nothing brings blue bubble in Android" instead of "Nothing to bundle the Sunbird app with their phones".

No, Nothing will provide a bridge to iMessage by logging with your password on the Mac mini farm. Not something that you want.

Also nothing didn't shit, they partnered with Sunbird.

Private companies owned by institutional investors are no better.

The real difference is the the founder still own the company.

It's limited to Android because this is the only alternative to iPhone and iPhone doesn't support it.

Many carriers rely on Google Jibe but not all of them, and they don't have to.

It's not unknown, it's clearly user retention. And it works in the US where they turned their users into salesmen pushing everyone to buy iPhones so they can use advanced features without having to install a free app.
