agree the amount of power and better screen/speakers in a laptop that's basically just as portable

i read around a lot the 1st week i got my MacBook pro last month and decided it was worth getting apple care + for this laptop.. i previously had purchased apple care month to month for 2 of my phones and even my watch last year and never needed to use it so i was skeptical but.. with something like this i find the peace of mind is worth it alone. especially after reading about so many amazing experience others have had with apple care +, seems its generally felt that apple care + is a great value for peace of mind or actual repairs if needed

would you be upgrading storage on the 15in mba too? if so then the air would definitely be plenty of computer for you ! i definitely don't recommend going 15in Air w/ base 256gb storage

however, the 14in pro would obviously be an even bigger beast of a laptop & if you can swing it would be the best buy unless you really value having a bigger screen. But keep in mind the 14in pros screen may not be as big but is a whole lot better so..

the 15in Air 16gb/512gb would 100% be great though, could even get a cooling pad if worried about being hot in your room !
