Relatedly, I’d like a similar article regarding the gas network. Folks rely on gas for heating and cooking. As, generally the more well off, migrate to heat pumps and induction hobs there will be fewer users of the gas network. At some point the whole thing becomes economically unviable, leaving those less well off trapped in spiralling costs.

My friend group enjoyed Splitgate 1 but we just bounced off Splitgate 2. It just wasn’t fun. Portals seemed to be an afterthought, rather than fundamental to the gameplay. Also the maps we played seemed to be tighter and less arena based.

Still not sure why they decided to do ‘2’ rather than continuing to iterate on the first one really.

Thread is a network layer thing, comparable to WiFi or Bluetooth. Matter is an application later thing, comparable to HomeKit or Google home.

Zigbee is both network and application layer.
