I think it's amazing how well the tiny factories built with low-cost parts work. DRM is terrible but I haven't dealt with that first-hand.

Mine works well, I have a LaserJet Pro 400 and I've put 3rd party toner in it. It just shows it as non-genuine HP toner and continues to print.
They're pushing their packaging system, some apps install as a snap by default rather than deb. A lot of people are upset and would rather see them support Flatpak. Of course we can use whatever we want.
No because that would hinder their ability to dump information about everything they're doing and who they're with for attention.
Yes, I have achieved this by not installing any meta apps.
It works, I can customize it if I want, and I don't really care about the snap drama.
My mom used to have the wagon version of that, same color I think. I miss that car.
