I'd like to see them guarantee availability of AR-15 parts! It's the ultimate right-to-repair rifle!

Help them wear out their batteries faster...

I don't think the top speed of the device itself is really the issue, my scooter is limited to 22 mph and I have cyclists pass me all the time on our bike and mixed trails. Especially on hills where I get bogged down. People should be mindful of speed though. I yield the bike lane to slower vehicles if it's crowded, and move into the street.

I'd be in if they make a kick scooter, I wouldn't be comfortable at that speed on a one-wheel. Is this meant to ride in the street?

I love that they support right to repair. That's my big concern with my ninebot, if something goes wrong it seems to be really hard to get parts. I can't even find the 5A DC charger in stock.

If I need to replace a tire I feel like I'm going to have to ship the whole thing somewhere.

But did you hear that it uses more water than regular data centers?

I saw a story a while back about Smart TVs automatically connecting to open WiFi networks to phone home even without the user configuring anything.

Of all the tools you mentioned the only thing I use is tlp on laptops. I've never felt the need to run something like stacer, it looks like it claims to do what you're looking for, beyond that I would just address your specific concerns. If you have a job that's running periodically that consumes too much CPU maybe you should schedule it for when you are not using the computer, or see if you can throttle it.

Uninstall apps you're not using if your laptop is overloaded. Maybe consider a buying a new one if you need more performance or battery life.

Keep in mind Linux is not Windows and modern Windows doesn't really need all the "optimization" people think it does anyway.

What specific issues are you having?
