That is exactly what I'm saying though, perhaps with less colorful language. We're not in disagreement.

Again, you're replying to what you think I said, not what I actually said. I agree with you, we're on the same side.
Love you, hope you realize this infighting in only helping the fascists.
That's basically the point I'm making? So I think one of both of us is confused.
I'm not your enemy bud, you don't have to be mad at me. We likely agree on almost everything. The fascists are winning right now because they don't bicker over piddly shit, we need to start doing the same.
You've assumed a lot about my position that is untrue, all I'm pointing out is that the conservatives are winning because they are willing to line up behind complete garbage. If the progressives want to make real change, they have to be willing to rally, and that will likely mean rallying behind a non ideal candidate, and likely rallying with those that we feel are amoral.
I say this with my whole heart: I don't hate you, and I hope we can win this fight, together.
A literal steaming pile of dog shit would be better than our current situation. Let's dig ourselves out of the ground before we start reaching for the stars
I switched to Kvaesitso a month or two ago, it's pretty much perfect for me
I do get behind progressive candidates, I offer zero support to Newsom at this time, but I realize that no matter how hard I support my favorite progressives, there is no gaurentee they'll win.
When it comes to 2028, I don't care much who is against the MAGA candidate, I'll almost certainly vote for them.
If I had a button on my desk that immediately swapped Trump for Newsom, I'd press it in a heartbeat, not because I think Newsom is a "good guy" or even that he'd be do the right thing. But rather because everything we can do to stem the tide of fascism is a good thing.
