Half-Life
Dark Souls 2 - helping a new player. It's been a lot of fun, and also frustrating because of the stupid soul memory mechanic. I want to try a co op mod (and other mods) but it seems like a lot of work.

Sad music is the best. Deftones are way more horny than angry.
Bread. I started making my own and it's way better and cheaper than the cheapest stuff from the store. And it's easier to make than I expected.
Laundry. It costs $6 Canadian (maybe more now) per load, so I do it by hand in a plastic bin in the bathtub and dry it on a rack with a fan for now, since it's winter. It works surprisingly well.
Eating out. My grocery budget is small but I make it work. It's easy to spend a week's worth of the budget on one meal at a restaurant, so I just don't.
Going out in general, to things like movies and concerts. Not just the cost of entry, but also the wear and tear on my car and potential repair costs, and price of gas, make it not worth it. I have enough fun enjoying my hobbies at home anyway.
I just finished my first playthrough of Half-Life and wish I had known about this alternate version, it looks great. Thanks for the write up.
3D platformers, my beloved.
Thanks for sharing and giving some things to look forward to.
This. I'm afraid to provide examples in case OP wants to train an AI model on artists I admire, or something.
These are the types of movies I want to watch. Consider this post received well (by me).
Your honour, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. I rest my case.
Back in the Pokemon TCG for Gameboy days, it was all about the joy of ~~catching~~ collecting 'em all, and building your custom decks to battle with. Things didn't have to be monetizable to be fun back then.
It's more about the pixelation to me.
To your question about low-pass filtering, I can see a gradient fade working for that (transparent to solid black for example)
Hell yeah. I used to have the shirt.
It absolutely brought me back to the late 90s shooters I grew up with. Lots of fun, but there were also a lot of parts I got stuck on, too. I will need some time before I play again / consider the BM version - maybe after HL2. Thanks for the additional info.
