They’re just little guys, they’re harmless to you.

Just scoop it into a cup with a paper towel as a lid and release it outside.

You just have to listen to the people cheering on the missiles as they flew past

I know this is probably not literal, but if there’s a video of people cheering as the missiles flew above them, I’d love to see it.

I’m pretty sure it’s more like depression that someone they are in love with doesn’t love them back.

I am an engineer and and I always design for the absolute worst case scenario within the system's paremeters. This takes time and money and it makes me furious that these SV companies just pump out crap that can and will affect real people beyond a buggy app.

Which also leads people to distrust technologies that could otherwise be pretty good and useful.

“Please explain whether this is an intentional act by your company, or whether you have no control over rogue programmers,” [Rachel] Riley said, signing the post as “a Jewish woman concerned about the global rise in anti-Semitism”.

Isn't she supposed to be smart? She should know that wouldn't have been intentional or "rogue programmers". It's using some neural network that decided 🇵🇸 most closely matches "Jerusalem". It's not that deep. There's no feasible way to know exactly why an NN gives whatever output it does. Something to do with the training data, but it probably has a mountain of training data that definitely wasn't all manually reviewed.

  1. Iran has no nuclear weapons program (despite US propaganda saying otherwise), it would take a very long time to set one up and have a working weapon.

  2. Considering the US has been foaming at the mouth about supposed Iranian nuclear weapons for decades now, the US would probably invade to "stop them from finishing their nuke".

But what interest would Russia have in that? If anything, the West getting themselves even more entrenched in the Middle East will pull resources from Ukraine.

we have no choice but to ~~invade and destroy your country~~ attempt to invade only to have our entire fleet sunk.

Nothing ever happens anyway so don't even worry about it.

Why would I not be able to?
