How is this hypothetical child being raised? Are we talking Capri sun here or Tropicana. Do they get an iPad?

It might simply be my my use patterns but in my experience they tend to require a battery replacement in that time. Apple charged so much for the replacements it's often not really worth it unless you get some guy in a strip mall to do it

Well everyone says, and has said for years, that the best phone would run iOS but with the hardware innovations of Android phones.

Hell we're on the 7th generation of foldables and Apple still hasn't got one. I get they're not for everyone, and that's fine, but they should have the option.

If Apple offered an iPad that I could fold up and put in my pocket I might actually consider switching over. I'm not particularly bothered by iOS on a phone but iPad OS on a foldable phone I'm pretty sure that would sound like hotcakes even if it was 3K.

What do you think iCloud is for? Do you they are just be nice offering a cloud storage solution, or do you think maybe they get something out of it?

It only works on pixel devices though right.

Apple absolutely does spy on their customers. They've just taken this clever approach where they say they don't, and for some bizarre reason everyone just accepts it.

They probably don't spy as much as Google does, but let's face it they're definitely collecting info.

Does Mark Zuckerberg care about improving humanity? He's never previously shown much interest in the subject.

It's like watching a slow motion train wreck.

Either this turns out to be a giant boondoggle (which personally I think is the most likely case) in which case there's going to be an enormous crash

Or we actually get AGI out of all of this and then it promptly kills us all.

You could probably make good money by just shorting the stock of any company that does this.

If I was a shareholder I would automatically call for the firing of any CEO who even starts talking about AI.

No matter how many examples we get of companies doing this and everything falling apart there's always another CEO planning on doing it. Apparently the main requirement of being the CEO is you don't learn, and arrogantly announce nonsense to the media. If you can manage simultaneous walking and spitting, you're probably overqualified.

You think any of them have ever ever read a history book? Tale as old as time, right-wing government seduces brainless extremists to do its dirty work, then when they are no longer needed their turn on the chopping block.

The only reason it keeps working is that the useful idiots exemplify the idiot aspect. Anyone with more than six IQ points can see what's going on.

Definitely a Christian organisation they have a fax machine. Keeping up with the Joneses I see.

Now to waste their toner. I'm sending them my very important white text on a black background complaint, sent 4,000 times
