I don't know. If it is possible to override the autopilot then it's a pretty good bet that putting your foot on the accelerator would do it. It's hard to really imagine this scenario where that wouldn't result in the car going into manual mode. Surely would be more dangerous if you couldn't override the autopilot.

Apple are launching a folding phone next year in the same way that Fusion is a decade away.

They've been saying that since the launch of folding phones and the crease thing is just an excuse. No one who actually has ever experienced a folding phone cares about the crease. But if it was actually a solvable problem, I'm pretty sure engineers at Samsung are smart enough to be able to work it out, I don't think we have to leave it up to the Apple geniuses.

Yeah I'm American.

Because what I said definitely sounds like something that happens in American politics.

Have they tried doing anything then?

I've seen more dynamic corpses than a Ed Davey

Reform are actual fascists so I don't know what you're talking about.

There used to be an address at some university and you could mail them photographs of insects and they would tell you what those insects were.

Usually it would turn out to be a beetle of some kind.

This whole "it's comprised of an unknown element" thing that sci-fi likes to do is ridiculous in and of itself.

If aliens did turn up on Earth their starships would be constructed out of known materials, sure it might be some exotic alloy, or other engineered metamaterial, but we definitely understand what it was.

There's no such thing as alien atoms. Iron is iron.

You can tell it's about to start repeating itself when kids start getting called the names of your great-grandparents.

Well it had James Cameron as a director which automatically meant was going to make money. Also it was technically very impressive for the time which was kind of the point. Cameron made a huge deal of how this was a story that he'd wanted to tell for ages but hadn't been able to until the technology got to the point where he could use it.

After the movie came out there wasn't really any obvious path forward. It wasn't supposed to be a franchise it was just a movie that stood on its own. So nothing happened for years.

Then things like the volume came along and it started getting used even in TV productions, and suddenly a whole new level of capability arose and so they decided that they would make another movie only this time why stop at just one?

Perhaps you should broaden your horizons somewhat. Tankies are an international group whereas democrats only exist in the US, so you can't really compare the two. For one thing, they have different ultimate goals and motivations.

You should try the every time somebody gets unhappy they splinter off and form their own party political system. It essentially amounts to the two-party system in any case but provides more entertainment.

Its traditional definition works fine for this.

Just because women are doing it doesn't make it right.
