This guy seems to think that what people want from tv is infinite, endless mediocrity. Maybe it's me that's out of touch, but that sounds fucking stupid.

Stories are interesting and engaging when they have purpose and structure, and an ending is part of that structure. Going on an endless "and then..." tangent will leave viewers losing interest fast.

The joke is obvious. Getting it doesn't mean people have to be ok with it.

Blonde haired, blue eyed woman exemplified as having "great ~~genes~~jeans" wasn't a great idea for an ad before the Nazi resurgence. Nowadays, at best, it's extremely tone deaf, and I don't blame people for seeing it as a dog whistle.

That's awful! She'll never get an even roast with that setup.

What a creepy thing to post.

Yeah, it's so obvious from the completely blocked out sidebar 🙄

Also, the dev of Lemmy didn't know it was an issue, so maybe give regular users a break, yeah? https://lemmy.ca/post/48869739/18052704

Reminds me of the loading screen from Donut County.

I feel that doesn't really apply for a game that's been playable for several years now. It's not a triple-A preorder, it's just the physical relase for an early-access game.

I mostly feel the same way about mining - it's almost entirely a means to grind resources for me, which I never sell. But I do wonder if it could be sustainable to use it as the primary source of money. Maybe we're missing out.

Back to what, exactly? At what point in the past was it easier to use a computer than it was in the late 90s? Unless you're talking about before computers, which doesn't really have any bearing on what's being discussed.

You could do other things, just not profit from them.

You can just say you don't like him. Not sure why it has to be a judgement on his whole life.
