I feel that doesn't really apply for a game that's been playable for several years now. It's not a triple-A preorder, it's just the physical relase for an early-access game.
I mostly feel the same way about mining - it's almost entirely a means to grind resources for me, which I never sell. But I do wonder if it could be sustainable to use it as the primary source of money. Maybe we're missing out.
Back to what, exactly? At what point in the past was it easier to use a computer than it was in the late 90s? Unless you're talking about before computers, which doesn't really have any bearing on what's being discussed.

This guy seems to think that what people want from tv is infinite, endless mediocrity. Maybe it's me that's out of touch, but that sounds fucking stupid.
Stories are interesting and engaging when they have purpose and structure, and an ending is part of that structure. Going on an endless "and then..." tangent will leave viewers losing interest fast.
