I think there are not that many tech manufacturers in general.. camera sensors, computer chips, lithium battery… can all be traced back to a handful of manufacturers

With continual investment on newer tech and political will I think it’s possible the drastically increase output.

Omg I just witnessed an unker deleting hundreds of what I presume to be affairs messages on a flight.

I was so bored on a red eye flight and noticed the Unker across the aisle was deleting a lot of text messages on Wasapp. He magnified everything and I saw a lot of love emojis, and even bank transfers…

Decided to mind my own business and watched Witcher, after 1.5 episodes he’s still deleting!!! Slept for a while and when I opened my eyes, and he’s still deleting messages in an all-dark cabin 🤣

Who gave old Unker a Samsung Galaxy Fold to do that ? 😭

when would OLED tech reach maturity and become mainstream within the TV/Computer monitor scene? still so expensive tho...

OR is it gonna be like full-frame camera sensor whereby it would never ever reach mainstream and always priced at a premium?

Also consider the age of the business. Newly minted ones tend to close the moment they suffer a loss. But in city centre you may stumble upon old family run businesses that have operated for a few dozen years those tend not to shut down ever unless they retire from old age and nobody take over

Inflation in Malaysia is also lower than you think. Our interest rate is relatively low and stable. Disposable income is there (relatively speaking). Holistically speaking it really is up to the government (especially local ones) to decide how best to increase that pool of disposable income to drive local economies and businesses.

Business idea : buy then rent to juniors.

For bonus markah, can buy used ones off your batch mates (preferably different sizes) then rent them out

If I allow car talks like new models/make, mods etc. there those will dominate the discussions on the community, and reinforces the idea that you need to have a car to go anywhere, totally defeating the aforementioned goals.

sorry, I should have clarified myself - anti-car discussions* as in discussions about cars are forbidden and understandably so. I did mention that it is not suitable to host such content over there, people that are super passionate about public transport will not be the type of people that enjoy car ownership experience or even driving.

By the way, does !transport allow news about ride sharing, or news about the e-hailing space in Malaysia in general, given how it's a popular form of transportation?

With OLED, yeah it is indeed more sustainable cause less energy usage but damn it’s a stupid thing to say and remind from their end. It’s already implied

Hi I’m creating a community for people that enjoy the following noises:

  1. Brapppppp
  2. Stustustu
  3. Pshhhhhh
  4. Brap Brap Brapp Brapp
  5. Duuuduuuduuduu

yea they’re car sounds not farting sounds. Creating one, totally not because cars don’t fit under transport community considering the anti-car attitude there

Car enthusiasts, what do you wish to see being discussed on the car community? I can think of the following:

  1. Car Memes
  2. Car Reviews and Discussion
  3. Car Purchase decisions?
  4. EV Discussion
  5. Car Mods and Restoration
  6. Owners Review?
  7. Personal opinion pieces?

And also, non-car enthusiasts do you see yourself subscribing if you’re not interested in cars? If no, what can make you participate on a regular basis?

Will also need volunteers to mod. Tho it should be easy given the traffic on monyet.cc is fairly low, will be even lower on a niche community.

caught up with my HS friend, and we talked about a local YB that hired a PR agency to manage his schedule.

Bro had everything planned - including what to say, where to show up, what to wear, what colour to wear, what hairstyle, what type of food to eat and what not.

The example he gave was : 12pm, wear this colour, this style of shirt and eat laksa at this very specific joint...

next time you see YBs eating at your local joint macam very relatable to your daily routine, it could very well be a choreographed act lol..

I stand by my opinion. My ancestors did not escape communist rule from China just for me to be splained by some westerners about politics of China.

China is very much a market economy, it is not any different compared to Vietnam. I currently live in another parliamentary democracy in Asia, I would say to an extent the level of market interference is way higher in mine compared to China.

You can say all you want about CCP and Xi’s regime, and China and market their economic system all the way, to me it will always be a market economy with the level of interference no different from other NIC’s around the globe

Save the BS and don’t be a smartarse
