The last time we had consistent QB play was from the guy known across the league for inconsistent QB play.
Not even disagreeing with ya, OP. But there are levels of how shitty this is.

ITT - people acting like the NFL draft is an exact science
Eberflus is 0-9 against the division after blowing a 12 point lead with 3 minutes left in the game
Everyone wants him fired, but I guess we're rooting for a high draft pick again so he's the right man for the job.
On the topic of draft compensation, I'm wondering if teams are going to look at the Panthers and the success of the mega-haul trades for QB prospects at the top of the draft and start to re-evaluate the wisdom in that.
It's entirely possible the mega-haul one expects for #1 is considerably watered down.
Either way, I'm of the mind that MHJ at #1 is fine. If we're going QB at 1, so be it. But it'll really suck to lose out on Harrison.
If the Bears want to win that game, why draw up two bad run plays from shotgun for no gain with the game on the line?
If Jaylon Johnson wants to be paid like a top 5 corner, why doesn't he pick 6 that out route?
Did Virginia McCaskey have her brother murdered, his body mutilated, and pay off the judge to hide the autopsy? I don't know. I'm just asking questions.
If we are keeping Matt Eberflus for the 2024 season, is now too early to start talking about who you guys want us to draft in the top 10 in 2025?
Jackson is a 12.5 million cap savings if we cut him in the offseason.
We could sign any safety in the NFL at less than that and have the same impact as Eddie Jackson does today. There is no reason to keep him.
We'll always remember those first few years.
All I'm sayin' is I've never seen anyone wear that mustache who wasn't a pedo.
Good news!
Next two games are Minnesota and Detroit again.
There is no winning team that will have Matt Eberflus and Luke Getsy in the most key roles.

That is a pedestrian player who sucks at football, right r/NFCNorthMemeWar?
People love to take games in college and act like that sways things. CJ Stroud lost a 2nd game to Michigan last year and people were saying "I wouldn't take him in the 1st round after this."
Then he played a baller game in the playoffs and suddenly he was back to the 1st round. And after all that "stock movement", he stayed as the #2 QB off the board as initially expected.
I can see this all happening with Williams. At the end of the day, though, none of what these guys do in college matters in the pros. All that matters is their traits and abilities.
