Is it just me or does filtering by "Hot" seemingly give better results than "Active"? in c/lemmy@lemmy.ml

Here in the documentation it explains what the sort modes do. Active considers the time of the latest comment, and hot considers when the post was published instead.

Time for a drive upgrade. This HDD I'm replacing is the last remaining component from the pre-built I bought in 2018. in c/technology@beehaw.org

I'm so sorry, I figured it out. In profile settings, I had enabled language english. This caused well over half the timeline, and all posts and comments in this community to vanish, including my own. After deleting those settings, the problem is fixed.

In the settings interface, on the "Sort Type" box, there's a question mark one can click to explain the different sort modes. It leads to a 404 page. I think the actual page it should lead to is HERE. Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this.

Favorite weather app android? Ideally it keeps in memory the last weather update it receives, even if the app is force closed in c/foss@beehaw.org

I like Geometric Weather from F-Droid. I just tried force closing it on airplane mode and it showed the same info after the close.
