Vegapunk said that Egghead is actually an island of the past and that the ancient kingdom had futuristic technology too, so they probably knew about the sinking too and were trying to stop or prepare for it. But that doesn't clear up so many of the other questions about the ancient kingdom!

At first I was thinking the ancient robot would be it but now VP-Edison seems to have a plan and no one seems aware the robot is on the move. There's so much going still seems like anything can happen!

I've been enjoying Low Tech Magazine, super interesting write ups with a bunch of projects I'd love to make one day. Doesn't update super frequently though. The site maintainer's blog No Tech also has aggregation posts sharing interesting stuff they found.
Also NeoCities has an explore feature and it's fun just looking at people's cool websites.
