No, a rebrand is not a true technological news. It is regular news. Same would apply if Pizza company changed it's name. Internal policy changes of a website are not technological news either. Appointing a new director or firing staff, is still are not technological. Sure they its news, but have nothing to do with technology.
I keep downvoting them. But I am apparently alone.
Every trend will slow down, but what if the next is also about Twitter/X? Or for Meta, or some corporate move from another company.
You will still meet invalid beggars, burglars and dirty windshield washers when driving.
By invalid, I do not mean real invalid people but those who fake it with for example apparent urine bag and the like.
Element is very good.
The 20-80 rules applies here. Anyway, that is a strategy that works for me too. The rest would be SMS. Sending files is links to my self hosted nextcloud.
I do get excited now when going shopping for a moped or a set of bedsheets.
Personally I just embrace that I will forget to do the task and arrange my schedule around not doing it.
