Frankly, he needs thicker skin if he wants to publish at this level

Au contraire. He's not writing for a scientific audience, he's writing for the NYT bestsellers audience. Thin skin somehow helps with the promotion of these books.

this guy was a co-author of "The coddling of the american mind" which is just a reactionary screed about campus culture (have blue haired libs gone to far?). Here's a podcast that goes into the book https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-coddling-of-the-american-mind/id1651876897?i=1000603422829

In this article, he's literally advocating for following the examples set by Utah and Florida with regards to kids and social media. And yes, he's one of those "social contagion" idiots https://www.assignedmedia.org/breaking-news/jonathan-haidt-social-contagion-rogd-pbs

There have been some times where I was sure my E is low and T high, but when I got the blood test the levels were fine. Dysphoria can really distort your perception. Because you're already at the higher end of ev doses, My advice is to not increase or shorten the cycle until you get another lab suggesting you need to.

But have they not been updated in 8 years? Do they suppress the horrible screeching feedback?

But at the end of the day, eating less is the solution to the weight loss

And abstinence is the solution to unwanted pregnancies and STDs. The solution to alcoholism and all other drug addictions? Stop taking drugs/drinking.

Did I just provide medical advice? Or did I just make it clear that I don't know anything about sex education and drug addictions? I think it's the latter, and I think you're making similar arguments wrt fat people.

You're flattening the realities of life, and needlessly stigmatizing and moralizing eating . for every fat person you save with this gospel, there's many more anorexic people absorbing the same message.

Fat people: I should be able to get medical care beyond being told "you should lose weight".

Dummies like OP: 😡

Like, does anyone actually expect any countries with significant global influence to line up behind *Hamas*?

Do you seriously think WWI happened because countries "lined up behind" Gavrilo Princip?

Are you trans? Love to shit post, but hate corporations? Do we have the site for you!

IMO this is because Lemmy is still mostly targeted at techy/open source people. Trans women have already created their own communities/subculture in this world ('programmer socks' etc). But there's not that critical mass of trans men programmers to make a bustling community here.

Lemmy is probably also very white.

So we need more diverse topics to attract a more diverse audience. Right now, the only people signing up for Lemmy are people who have opinions about Internet protocols.
