Here's a short list of things I personally want

  • Change hardware parts
  • Extendable storage
  • 3.5 mm jack

The fact that the whole phone is a unit is both absurd and stupid. It makes it nearly impossible to repair or replace anything but the screen. I cannot even remember how many phones I have been forced to recycle due to the fact that the battery no longer hold charge over time.

Storage might not be a big thing, most of us probably use cloud storage, but I don't want cloud storage with a subscription fee, when it would be easier (and cheaper) to have storage directly in my phone.

I'm going to say it - fuck bluetooth! Every day it's: will it connect? Do I have to re-pair? Is the sound really coming out of my headphones only or do everyone around me here what I hear?

Pixel 4a for sure, I love smaller size phones and the 4a is perfect in size.

I might be pretty stupid, but why would police even want medical information? In what way are medical records a help in any police duty?

Edit: thanks for the responses. My only comment is that these examples are fucking terrifying.

I never really understood the whole agreement thing where the oil producing countries need to approve a plan. First of all, there's obviously a conflict of interest. Secondly, the other countries could just phase out their use of oil based products.

To be fair, literally everything in that picture is bizarre or weird.

Not to piss on anyones parade here, but grepping something out of a json structure is one of the most asked questions for jq as well. Of course json is nice, but if the goal is to simplify data extraction, I'm not sure much will be gained by this.

As far as reducing the toolchain necessary to extract the same data, this is a welcome addition.

Welcome to projects 101 where you are now in charge of coding, infrastructure, logging, metrics, secrets, linting and deployment.

Depends on the community IMHO. In piracy communities it is for sure not a controversial thought. Outside of those communities is an entirely different matter.

No of course not.

I still pay for things I can actually own, however subscription services routinely change, limit or simple remove items that you supposedly bought.

Piracy equals culture preservation in an age of subscription services.

How many bad eggs are we up to now? I seriously see articles every single day about cops abusing, violating and torture people.
