This is the same strategy I use with my family as well, I refer to a service they know and then tell them it's in our house.

Sunday is upgrade day, meaning I will update the OS on my servers and then update all my helm charts.

Everyone’s always in favor of saving Hitler’s brain, but when you put it in the body of a great white shark. Ohhh, suddenly you’ve gone too far.

I'm not sure what the drug debate of your country is like, so please correct me if my assumptions are incorrect.

In my experience, the drug debate lacks nuance, it's mostly the hardcore fans or the drugs-will-kill-you crowd that we see, while more level-headed voices are drowned out.

There's also a problem with facts. Research on a lot of drugs have been prohibited for a long time, making this a relatively new field of study.

With more studies, we're going to see confirmation of certain theories and rejection of others, making our knowledge more fact based and less opinionated.

My highly personal opinion is that it is a mistake to talk about drugs as one thing. There are tons of different drugs, and each one should be discussed by itself, not as a part of drugs. I also firmly believe that we are individuals and we all respond different to different chemicals. Saying that a chemical will have this effect on everyone is a mistake. I do however believe that a good setting, a sensible dose and someone watching over you, can drastically reduce any negative effects.

With that said, the "high" is not for everyone and that is okay.

Yup, pretty similar to how the Nazis built up the SA

Yeah, everyone talking to their computers in the office is going to be great /s

I wonder if the charging port on mobile devices will go the way of the 3.5mm jack and be replaced with Qi and other wireless charging protocols. I also wonder if we will be forced into Bluetooth for all extension devices we used to connect to usb-c.

As an internet oldie, my Lemmy experience has given me a serious throwback to the childhood of the internet.

The last couple of weeks I have read more genuine articles, blogs and been exposed to more real people than I've been in a long time. I had forgotten what internet was before seo and bots, but you have reminded me.

So, I just want to say thank you to all of you magnificent people here!

I'm currently setting up my homelab using k3s and helm. Normally I use the official charts from the projects themselves, but I'm a bit lost when trying to install software that don't have official helm charts. Are there any searchable trusted resources for helm charts?

ZigBee vs Zwave (self.homeassistant)

Hey lemmings, trying to figure out which of the two integrations to choose. By what I've read, I prefer ZigBee but those devices are hard to find here. Can people who have experience with either of these integrations give me a pro/con overview in relation to home assistant.

ZigBee vs Zwave (self.homeassistant)

Hey lemmings, I'm trying to find out what works well with Home assistant and I often see ZigBee and zwave devices being one of the better integrations to go with.

Would anyone care to share your experiences with either of these integrations?
