Really hard to care about a niche social network like this if it isn’t federated, honestly. Far as I’m concerned it could go the exact same way as Hacker News or Reddit.

Old posts from up to a year ago have randomly started showing up in my feed and it’s starting to drive me insane. I believe all you need to do to bump a post is to edit it. I have no idea why this would ever need to be a feature in Lemmy, though.
What I ended up doing was making a smart playlist on desktop, that contains all of the songs in your library. Then it’s a single button tap to download everything.
Why is turning off a defaulted checkbox such a big deal? It’s KDE, surely you would be used to customising settings by now since they make it so easy.
Does Lemmy really push older posts in the algorithm if you edit them? That seems a little flawed.
Same opinion I have of it, too techbro. Easier to avoid those circles on a federated site.
