I feel like you're arguing in bad faith if you're making a false equivalence like that. We're not talking about Islamist anything, we're talking about the genocidal colonial oppression of innocent men women and children by the IOF. they literally ensured premature babies were left to die and decompose in incubators in hospitals in Gaza

If not for isntreal they wouldn't exist at all because there wouldn't be a need to

100% correct. They are an unfortunate but unsurprising symptom of the disgusting occupation of the land that is rightfully Palestine by isntreal.

Genocidal zionazis murdering tens of thousands of unarmed men women and children are more what I'd be concerned about affecting the Palestinian cause than artists trying to stand for something they believe in.

Also, Hamas is not terrorism, it's a symptom of an oppressive terrorist colonial regime wantonly subjucating a people. They're the equivalent of the rebel resistance in star wars.

Got paid so bought a couple of ton bags of compost to finally finish filling a polytunnel I got this year. Bit behind schedule for growing so might not be my most productive year but it's all a learning process

Ireland isn't a accurate figure as there's plenty of people living on the streets, both Irish citizens and asylum seekers that we should be helping in equal measure here

Was consistently in the top 15 or 20 in my age group (obstacle course racing) and was gearing up to aim for a podium finish but got rear ended on the way home from work one day in November so in recovery for a back Injury. Hoping I can get back to it again by the end of the year to but gotta hurry up and wait.

Started growing my own veg a year or two ago so getting steadily better at that and enjoying the process. (this one kinda skirts the line between just being self sufficient and a hobby though so make of it what you will)

Similar to others, pretty adequate at plenty of other stuff, the two above just immediately come to mind

Mühle do some really nice safety razors. Depending on your budget, you might consider them expensive but honestly, one handle and a ten pack of blades and you'll have broken even compared to a Gillette mach 27 cold fusion or whatever because once you have the handle, the blades are super cheap

Nice, thanks for the suggestion! Distilling is illegal where I live and goodness knows I don't need yet another hobby right now but I love learning about it!

Buckin Billy Ray - interesting videos about cutting trees down and servicing chainsaws. A little bit unchained (excuse the pun) in a wholesome way as he seems to randomly intersperse his videos with positive affirmations like 'be kind' 'love your friends' which is kind of wholesome

Way out west - an older English guy living in the West of Ireland making things like a railway for transporting garlic

I did a thing - a hilariously unhinged aussie bloke

James Hoffman - for coffee. And hames joffman also

Karl Rock - travels around India/Pakistan exploring the places

Mike okay - travels to really off the beaten track places like Iraq.

Maximus ironthumper - many videos, the project kermit series is him rebuilding a land rover defender from scratch

Still it - distilling and making spirits

Was really disappointed when that one came out.. His stuff was great up to that point but now it feels... It's got an ick now.

Reading a book in English class. Had a high school English teacher that was out sick half the time and spent literally all of the remaining time they were actually in to teach us, reading through the assigned novel for the curriculum. (barely 20% of the curriculum overall) I was/am an avid reader so had the novel finished on my own in about a week and a half and got bored of listening to the terrible accents and voices being attempted by the teacher so Brought in my own book from the library and hid that in the cover of the prescribed novel to read. Teacher caught me and sent a letter home to my parents. Absolute nonsense!
