Glad it was useful! My Ms paint skills are amazing aren't they :)
I use zigbee mqtt Which of course integrates with mosquito broker.
But I tied in my ecowitt weather station data via mqtt into the broker so I have it in HA. I did this with weewx . There's an mqtt add-on
I also integrated my blue-iris NVR in to mqtt for motion detection, notifications for cameras.
Life360 integration to help automate things based on who's home
I use esphome and have a bunch of sensors/devices. I track whole house power utilization, I have temp sensors on my HVAC to I can watch all its performance stats.
Here's my ugly drawing that tracks inside/outside/basement temps, geothermal water loop temps, in/out furnace air temps, water heater state along with both it and the furnace realtime watts usage.

Turns out it's still humans visiting this shiny new site. Welcome to earth, enjoy your stay.
I'll definitely keep this in mind... They (some HA devs figured out a fix for life360) so with a small change to one file it's back up. I should probably migrate off, 360 but the whole circle uses.l if for life 360 stuff.
Thanks!
Good to know about the Mac address thing, I've never looked at it that close or realized that.
What I'm hoping is this gets fixed and I don't have to change things! But good to know there are options.
Doesn't the companion app have gps access? I haven't looked into it very closely since I was already using life360. I thought there was a tracking sensor as part of the phone (separate from life360) that may be able to be used? I do rather like the randomized mac address setting on our phones.
We are using it for presence detection, but not just for those that live in the house. Our life 360 'circle' allows my parents to arrive and automatically perform actions (disarm alarm) but they are not users of HA since there is no real need.
We were already using L360 when I started using HA.
Thanks for the link, I googled looking for issues because I know there was one earlier this year that required a fix. Might be time to figure out a better way, but it's just another thing to mess with :)
I just checked an it appears my HA server and laptop are both within 1sec of one another, so I am assuming I'm good there. Thanks for the idea. I tried restarting HA also, no luck.
Tried going back to using my phone vs. email to log in, but same issue, authentication error.
Like restarting the original show - 100% would Love! Remaking it as all other 2023 shows - No thanks.
I also don't believe the modern world would allow what we had. Insurance, getting access to locations (because insurance, general costs) all those fun things.
And nobody under 30 would watch it if episodes were longer than 3 minutes. I can make fun of them because they left after the first line of this comment :)
I'm not an expert on this subject, but it seems the majority of the jobs would betemporary. They loop construction and manufacturing into a single number. Would be interested to see how many "permanent" jobs are being created with this money, and maybe even a ROI/break even time scale on those tax dollars.
I assume the vast majority of operations within any microchip factory will be robotic/automated. Meaning a large percentage of that 700 is likely on the construction side. Not poo pooing those per say, but makes it harder to see the full picture.
