I still think the mid 2000s GSX-R 750 is the ultimate street "sport bike" so...

  1. GSX-R 750
  2. Yamaha FJR
  3. Honda CRF 450x / Yamaha WR450

Nothing exotic mainly because working on them/getting parts/maintenance all overpriced :). If all maintenance is included mine could change.

Maybe not "average", but an unfortunate growing number :(

If only there was some way to completely prevent this from happening...

I also think the guys that designed/Installed ours were not the best. I think they undersized us a bit and am guessing the loop field is also smaller than ideal.

If I knew then what I knew now I probably would have questioned them a bit, but I just had too much other stuff I was keeping up with at the time.

We're finishing our basement now and had a different HVAC company come out to look at adding vents/returns and he basically said our system really isn't large enough to support the basement 100% which burns me up because we told them all along it was going to be finished and should be sized accordingly.

Ours is 13yo, so not ancient but not new either. We have geothermal heat pump, so at least more efficient than a air/air heat pump. But when it has to run non-stop it really cools down the ground loop water and gets less efficient.

Ya, outside Cincinnati the forecast only has us making it to 32°f as the HI on Thursday. quite a few low's in the single digits (was 3.6°f this morning) all week.

Our HVAC is working overtime since Saturday, and appears it's going to be an expensive electricity month.

Yikes... And not that there's anything happening over there but...

I own a 2016 :)

This year I'm trying to move away from Amazon, first letting our prime membership lapse in I believe a week. May replace it with Walmart+ or nothing.

But the reality is I was ok paying a fee for fast shipping, but this stupid crap with adding "free" perks that ultimately raise the price combined with the terrible review system, and just garbage products has me backing away. I don't use/find enough value in all the extra perks above free shipping to justify the cost.

I'm ok with this

Ya, I get it... But now they're actively participating in making the students education worse.

No doubt, it's a lose/lose situation. But I find it quite sad for the innocent kids getting caught up in stupid adult stuff. And believe me... I use "adult" strictly to define age/authority position, not mental or maturity level.

It's almost like essential services are just entirely too expensive. You know the simple things like housing, food, and health care.

On the bright side... Um, well... I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Right, hence "not poo pooing those jobs" as they are certainly important, and construction jobs are always temporary (unless they're apparently road construction ones :) )

It's just always vague the net new in that area.

No doubt, getting more important manufacturing in country is a big win.
